Sichuan Hai Di Lao Catering Co. Ltd was founded in 1994 and they began serving the worldwide popular Sichuan style hot pot. Sooner or later, they started gathering various regional influencers and tastes along the way to cater to the tastebuds of everyone.

Ever since then, Hai Di Lao has always dedicated their hard work and effort into achieving the perfect blend of authentic traditional chinese style hot pot with the convenience of modern trend. Hai Di Lao is one of the most famous hotpot restaurant that has over four hundred stores in different locations all around the world.

Due to the hype and popularity of Hai Di Lao, people usually have to wait for hours or book weeks/months in advance in order to dine at Hai Di Lao. However, Hai Di Lao is known to go above and beyond for their customers. Although they are just a hotpot restaurant, they offer free services such as changing phone screen protector & manicure sessions. But wait... there's more!! They offer complimentary popcorn, titbit and What a unique yet creative idea to keep those customers waiting for their turn to be seated entertained and companied.

TIME FOR THE REVIEW... WAS IT WORTH IT? 🤭

Fortunately enough, during our visit to Hai Di Lao, both my friend and I did not had to wait a long time to be seated. After a 20 minutes wait, my friend and I were ushered to our table by the friendly staffs. When we finally got to our table, we were given hot towels to wipe our hands, aprons as well as a small plastic bag that would fit mobile devices in order to avoid our mobile phone from getting splashed by the hotpot broth. I thought it was such a thoughtful and caring gesture from the staffs.

As mentioned earlier, it was both my friend & I's first experience at Hai Di Lao therefore we were overwhelmed with choices that were offered to us! All orders are done through a tablet that were provided which included pictures and prices for full/half portions. Both my friend and I were indecisive as to what we should order therefore we asked the staffs available for recommendations and they were all extremely helpful.

We ordered the tomato & seafood base soup and oh my god... it was honestly so yummy! There were a variety of meat options for us to order therefore we ordered different kind of meats such as pork and beef slices. They were tender and juicy, really complimented well with the broths. The signature pull noodles are also their classic order that all the customers tend to love. The chef would pull the noodles and do a mini show for customers who ordered it, in front of them.. It was very cute and entertaining! The boomerang clip below shows the chef pulling our pull noodles 😜

HERE COMES THE VERDICT

Overall, I would highly recommend those who love hotpot to try Hai Di Lao out if you haven't already! Their services is over the top and their food is so delicious! My favorite? THE BROTH. They taste so tasty and the good thing about it is that it doesn't leave you feeling thirsty after eating it! What are you waiting for? I will definitely go back to Hai Di Lao for round 2 again 🙋🏻‍♀️
